Rules and regulations

The rules that governed the PBC Forum, to maintain a certain threshold of quality and relevance.

The Forum provides a medium by which our members can interact with our community. The objective of the Forum is to create an engaging, entertaining, informative and trusted environment. The following rules govern the Forum in order to maintain a certain threshold of quality and relevance:

  1. English only in both subject headers and the text of postings.
  2. No inappropriate comments regarding a member's character, background or profile picture.
  3. Do not diminish the quality of the community with rude, frivolous or needlessly provocative threads.
  4. Respect the privilege of our other members to express divergent thoughts and opinions.
  5. Do not use the forum to perpetuate disagreements or personal issues.
  6. Any forum postings introducing hate, racism, intolerance, or vulgarity will be immediately deleted and will result in the revocation of your membership.
  7. Refrain from profanity, vulgarity, and/or pornographic or inappropriate sexual discussions.
  8. The webmaster will constantly monitor the forum postings to ensure compliance with these rules.
  9. Ultimately, we ask that you use common sense when posting in the forum.

Copyrighted material

Because of legal and ethical reasons, text from third-party sources such as other websites or printed publications cannot be posted on the forum, unless the member owns the material's copyright. Instead, please provide a website link to the original source. In addition to the link, please also provide your own thoughts and comments regarding the subject of the link and/or forum.

Subject lines

Subject lines should be short, in English, without profanity, and relevant to the thread topic. Inappropriate styles for subject lines include words in all capital letters, unnecessary use of punctuation and overstated typography.

Deletion of threads

The club expressly reserves the right to monitor and delete threads that do not conform to our rules or that we otherwise consider inappropriate in our sole discretion. If necessary, we may suspend and/or remove a member's account. Upon deletion of a thread, our webmaster will inform the posting member of the reason for the deletion to prevent further abuse of the forum.
